CVS Is Getting Smarter

I noticed that there are several things in next month's ECB catalog that are free after ECB. That's good, right? Well, yeah - but it would be better if they had run that ad before the coupons for those products expire! For example, Adidas deoderants and Colgate 360 toothbrushes.

I am going to go to CVS on April 26th (which is the day these coupons expire) and see if they might, by some chance, be doing the May ECB deals already. Either that, or find a CVS that accepts expired manufacturer coupons. I have to admit I've never tried using an expired coupon at my CVS before, but I heard from a couponer that I ran into once that "they all do".

So I'm curious....Does your CVS accept expired manufacturer coupons??

I tried an expired coupon for pull ups. It was only one day expired, and they did accept it - no questions. But I don't know if all of them will! But it was a $2.00 coupon and it was only one day past the expiration date.

Thanks for the heads up on the May flyer. I just looked through it, and looks like I'll be getting paid to buy the Aquafresh toothpaste and Adidas deodorant (the Adidas refund offer I have is good through May 4)!

I haven't tried expired coupons yet, but I know that the manager at my CVS told me to hang on to my Softsoap Spa coupons and I could use them with my raincheck - even if the coupons are expired by the time they get it in stock. Not sure if that's true for other expired coupons though.

A lot of times man coupons are repeated... when one expires, the man puts out another one. Check the late April / early May inserts before giving up hope. :)

my CVS checks coupons carefully, and they don't give rain checks, but they do offer "replacement" deals...ie they have been out of the softsoap all month so the store manager gave me 5 bodywashes of my choosing for free

Extraordinary Ordinary Life gave me this link to donate expired coupons to families overseas. You might want to check it out!

By the way, I love that you're in the minority group! We want lots of children if that's what the Lord wills for us! :)

i think it depends on who the cashier is. i went this morning and she wouldnt let me use an exp coupon. i told her that i have used one before(but i hadnt) and she said not manufacture ones because they dont reimburse use if they are. so i guess that means they take exp cvs ones...? the exp coupons will scan in, ive done it at walmart at the self scaners.
