Well, I didn't get to the homiletics that I was shooting for this past week. (See last week's blog if you don't know what I'm talking about). There were a lot of crazy things going on in our home and, although it should have been top priority, somehow it fell by the wayside.
I'm pretty much preaching to myself when I say that it is SO important to rest in order to properly worship the Lord. If we don't rest, we cannot function to our full capabilities and are not able to serve God in the ways He desires.
And on that short note, I am heading to bed....
