You Were Right!

Okay, so some of you already knew, but congrats to those of you who correctly guessed the answer to Friday's pop quiz! :)

Since I think the word is now out to everyone we know around here and our families, I thought I would share it with all of you - especially those of you who know me personally but do not leave comments or ever call (Belinda!!!!). :) This week marks the 11th week of pregnancy for me. I'm feeling pretty lousy and have been for about 5 weeks now. I'm looking forward to feeling better, but I must admit that this time around has not been nearly as bad as I recall the last three pregnancies being. I've actually had a couple of good days and several okay days. (I usually only get bad and really bad days.) So I'm grateful for that.

I'm also grateful for all of my dear friends from church who have been over to help me clean my house, cook dinner, and watch my kids so I can get a bit of extra rest.

Things have been interesting for me thus far. This is my first pregnancy during which I have been trying to simultaneously run our family and a business. It's been a challenge to say the least. Usually the time I work on business-related projects is after everyone goes to bed (around 8pm), but I've been so exhausted lately that I've been in bed at the same time as everyone else! I am slowly learning how to balance things and getting into a rhythm, I think.

I also really appreciate Gretchen taking the time to do most of the posting lately as I have not been up to it. (Thanks, Gretchen!)

My husband and I are so thankful for this new life the Lord has given us! We hope you will rejoice with us in this miracle! :)

Haha. Thanks for calling me out on never calling you! And for knowing that I would be reading this so you could call me out. Your mom was in Savers a few weeks ago and told me about your newest little one. I'm so excited for you guys, and not surprised at all. Thanks for thinking of me and keeping us in your prayers. It means a lot. Hopefully you feel good enough to come visit soon, but if not I will try to call you sometime to check in. :)
